Guide Bridge NX panel box on the eastern edge of Manchester due to close November 20th 2011.
It controls the lines from Manchester Picadilly to the former Woodhesd route and to Leeds vis Stalybridge. Additional lines from Romiley and the route from Stckport (Heaton Norris Jct ) join from the western end.
Once the site of the DC 1500v elctrifiefied stabling sidngs the now stands some way back from the nearest lines.
